KAWAIAHA'O FOUNTAIN

Listen to Rev. Kenneth Makuakāne of Kawaiaha'o Church speak about the various  historical landmarks and sites throughout our church campus.

KAWAIAHA'O FOUNTAIN

According to legend, the large lava rock incorporated into the Ka Wai a Ha'o fountain was brought from Kaimuki and set at the mouth of the spring to raise the water level to the height of a person.  The fountain on the mauna (mountain) side of the church is fed by an artesian well from beneath the church.
