God has consistently proven his case in the Bible. In this case, he actually names a leader who was not even born when Isaiah was written.
According to Wikipedia, Isaiah was written between 740 and 686 BC. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaiah). In Isaiah 6:1, it claims writing began “In the year that King Uzziah died…” According to Wikipedia, King Uzziah died in the year 750 or 751 BC. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzziah). To allow plenty of room for error, let us say Isaiah was written between 751 to 686 BC.
Now, things get interesting. Cyrus was presented as a leader between 751 to 686 BC in Isaiah. So, when was Cyrus born? He was born between 600 BC and 530 BC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrus_the_Great)! This means Cyrus was not even born until between 150 to 200 years after Isaiah was written.
These facts tell you the Bible is the Word of God. God proves Himself throughout. Thank you Lord for using prophesy to prove Your Word is 100 percent true!
