“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Time.
One day, you will stand before Christ and most likely the one question you will be asked is what did you do with the time I gave you? One needs to think deeply on this. Were you purely focused on you career? We’re you aimlessly surfing the web on your smart phone? Did you focus on your family? Were you dedicating time to Christ and if so, how much?
How much time did you give to God through His Word, prayer and listening to the Holy Spirit? Your time is the most valuable gift you can give to anyone or anything.
As Paul says, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.”
II Corinthians 13:5 NKJV

Your actions on how your time is spent on this earth really determines where your heart is. It shows what’s truly important to you.
So, examine how you allot your time and really dig deep on how much of it is truly dedicated to Christ. How deep is your faith? Does Christ really know you? Do you really know Christ? How would you answer this question if Christ (who knows the answers) asked you?
Time on this earth is finite. You never know when you will meet Christ face to face. Are you ready to tell Him how you spent your time? Was he truly number one in your life based on the time you spent talking with Him, walking with Him, learning from Him and acting like Him?
If you can’t answer this question by giving strong examples of how your time was dedicated to Him, you may want to examine your heart and what you truly value.
Tick tock my friend. Tick tock.
